Cutting through the opinions, the Fashion Design Council Of India (FDCI) decided to replace the front rows with virtual settings hence, announced the first-ever Phygital Lotus Make-Up India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2021. On the second day of the event, this sartorial soiree witnessed a generous dose of fashion. The day spotted avant-garde collections it had it all- from Gauri & Nainika’s summer romance to Siddhartha Tyler’s glamour.
The designer duo Gauri & Nainika, once again, with their fashion and dressing sense, took the latest women fashion in India by storm. Gauri & Nainika presented their ‘fresh, free-spirited and as always, utterly feminine’ SS21 collection.

The Gauri & Nainika collection was anything but boring. It was free-spirited, fresh, and as always, utterly feminine. The Gauri & Nainika Spring-Summer 2021 collection effortlessly took the world on an uplifting journey, where beauty and nature set the mood for a sunlit summer romance.
The designs portrayed everything, be it a Victorian-inspired floral or a soft Dutch-inspired delft print in leaf-green. There were numerous prints used in the collection. The latest work included a range of wrap dresses, wartime-inspired demure pencil dresses, and shirt dresses that were created in a vintage color palette of classic black, bottle green, and scarlet red.
The collection celebrates the latest women fashion that is easy-to-wear. It had flowy crepe dresses that stood out because of the stark colors used. The models, with their avant-garde dressing sense and confidence, added more glamour to the designs.
The garments showcased a touch of vintage glamour, as they were dotted, with highlights of small black velvet roses that gave a romantic and luxurious feel to the fabrics.
