A Tribute To The Fashion Designer

To do justice to his accomplishments, to gauge his contribution to the fashion industry, to encompass so many unforgettable memories of such talent into a single narrative is an overwhelmingly undoable duty. His essence began from how he established himself as a designer: not as an intellectual plucking high concepts from the air and enacting them, however, as an ally who put in all the powers of his social insight and creativity at the service of women’s lived experience.

The importance of what Alber endorsed will not go away, either from the fashion history or from the hearts of women who loved his designs.
